Rianna’s Second Birthday/ The Dessert Table + Foods

Here is the part two post of Rianna’s second birthday party. As you can see in the photos the theme was obviously red and white. At first, I didn’t know what to do or what color to use for the decorations, then I realized as Christmas was approaching so I used red and white instead. There is nothing special on these decors by the way. I made them all by myself. They may look so simple but trust me it took me a few days to make them all.

Those white backdrops were made of bond paper that I made a little fan and I attached the red star in the middle. For those red chandeliers, there’s a DIY post I shared a few weeks ago. Most of the decorations are Christmassy. There was also a DIY post for those silver Christmas tree up there. For the Happy Birthday banner, it was made of letters I printed online and cut them. I used cardboard and covered with a pretty wrapper and then I attached those “Happy Birthday” letters.

The food and desserts mostly are cakes as they are easy to make. Three layers chocolate mousse cake, cupcakes, cake pops, brownies, some other desserts to name a few. Even though there are few foods there are still so many leftovers that I ended up trying to eat them all for the reason of not throwing them in the trash. It is always like this. Whether I cook a lot or little, there are still many leftovers.
It was a fun day even though we have few visitors. Just close friends of ours. Next year I do not think we will be having another party. This is maybe the last that I will work on party decorations. It’s crazy tiring and fun. But the effort is all worth it. I am happy doing all these for my one and only princess.
I hope you like it. Thanks for dropping by!
