Linnanmäki Amusement Park

Visiting Linnanmäki amusement park is a yearly tradition here in Finland. The park is so full during summer as it is the only time everyone can go there. You will expect lots of kids and families on your visit. This year’s visit to Linnanmäki is quite special to me because I have tried this scary ride called Raketti for the very first time. It was scary while we were on top and I felt like I was dead for a few seconds hahaha. I am scared of heights and, I normally don’t do this kind of things. But they convinced me to do it, so I was like… yeah, why not! After all, it’s only a few minutes ride. I was happy I made it and it wasn’t so bad after all. But would definitely NOT doing it again. :)

We tried few different rides. There are free rides for kids and we’ve tried them too. What I really like the most was the Panorama ride wherein you can see the view of Helsinki and linnanmäki from up above. I’ve also tried the wooden train ride, one of the oldest rides there. It wasn’t scary, though it feels like you’re flying when the train goes up and down really fast. If the seat wasn’t so tight, I would be flying to nowhere already, hahaha. Overall, it was fun spending the day there. Kids were happy. Yanna was so excited to ride the train, cars, and others. We’ll come back there again next time for sure.
