WEEK 19 PREGNANCY UPDATES

Hello! Another weekly pregnancy update here. We are now in our 19th weeks of pregnancy. How time flies really fast. On my 12th week appointment, my due date was moved two days early, so the week should start on Sundays. However, I still count the week changes on Tuesdays. Today is Saturday so tomorrow, Sunday I’ll be 20 weeks.

19 WEEKS OF PREGNANCY UPDATE

July 30- August 5

It is amazing how time flies really fast. The week has gone by quickly which makes me positive. Soon we’ll gonna have this baby. I am waiting patiently for my maternity leave which is happening in less than four months now. It says the maternity leave is four weeks before the due date, so I’ll be leaving work in November third week.

This week I am back to work. Everything went well. I managed my work. My workmates have been understanding. They always remind me of what I can do what not to do (lifting, doing work alone). They all think my belly is too small though. For me, my bump looks like just a fatty belly which almost everyone has. At five months pregnant, I can still wear my working clothes which I am happy about. I will be wearing them as long as I still can. I bought a few maternity clothes but haven’t worn them at work yet.

HOW I FEEL AND PREGNANCY SYMPTOMS

BABY MOVING

At 18 weeks I started to feel baby moves. At 19 weeks the baby moves are getting obvious and stronger. I cannot see it yet from the outside though. I’d love to touch my belly, search where the baby is and feel her/his moves. Its feels so amazing.

CRAVINGS

So far, this whole pregnancy my only cravings is MANGOES. I am totally fine without it, though. I sometimes crave for fried chicken as well. Before pregnancy, I love to eat avocados, but then now I don’t like it so much. I haven’t eaten avocados on my first trimester. Now, that I can eat anything I am trying to eat again avocados. I know its healthy. This pregnancy is so different than my first. I crave a lot of sweets last time. But now I don’t even think about ice cream or cakes. I am hoping it stays like this though because I am afraid to gain too much weight.

WEIGHT GAIN

My pre-pregnancy weight was 49,4. I am now 52,4 kg. So far, I’ve gained only 3-4 kilos.

I was, however, heavier than that month before. I was over 54kg and in January I started to change my diet and lose some weight. So, I was 49,4 at the beginning of my pregnancy. Then, lose a little during the first three months when I had severe morning sickness.

LEG CRAMPS

I have leg cramps sometimes but not too bad or often. It happened when I was lying in bed and in the sofa. It happened only 2-3 times. I hope it does not get worst. Then, it would be hard when I am at work.
