A Day Cruise To Tallinn

A DAY TRIP TO TALLINN ESTONIA

I’ve been wanting to go on a short trip may be a cruise, and so glad I finally did it. It was only a day trip but so nice to finally go somewhere far for a while

As I said before, it was just a day trip so it was really a short one. Tallinn is very near to Finland, so anyone can go there anytime. It only takes 2.5 hour ship ride to Tallinn from Helsinki. I chose a day trip because I haven’t left little Hope alone at night. So I’m taking it one at a time. Leaving her during the day and maybe later I can leave her during the night as well.

So I went with my oldest daughter. I promised her a trip and am glad we finally did it. I honestly miss traveling. Before the pandemic, we were traveling often. But since the pandemic, we haven’t been anywhere especially now with two little ones. Traveling is a little more challenging now. But I do have another trip plan. I think I will bring one little one or maybe both of them. But we will see!

Anyway, it was snowing so badly when we arrived in Tallinn. We didn’t have any special place planned to go, so we just walk around in the old town. We went to the old town square, to the flower shop and then we grab lunch. Then it was time to head back to the ship.

The trip was really short and it was a stress relief. The fare of the cruise was really cheap. It was only 24€ for me and my daughter both ways. The bus fare cost us 60€ which was more expensive. The taxi cost 41€. So imagine how affordable the cruise was. I booked the trip for less than 24 hours, so the bus was so expensive. Next time book the trip especially the buses weeks before.

Overall, the trip went well and it was fun!
